India Meteorological Division (IMD) had issued an ‘Orange alert’ for heavy rainfall within the districts of Thiruvananthapuram. IMD has issued a ‘Crimson alert’ in Ernakulam, Kerala. In keeping with IMD, heavy to very heavy rainfall is prone to happen in a number of remoted locations within the state. Heavy rainfall is prone to happen at remoted locations in Kerala on Might 24 and Might 25 Notably, an ‘orange’ alert signifies ‘very heavy rainfall’ from 6 cm to twenty cm of rain.
