Paysharp will get last nod from RBI to behave as fee aggregator

Paysharp has acquired RBI last authorisation to behave as a fee aggregator following an in-principal licence issued in December 2022.

The five-year-old start-up has raised ₹23 crore in two rounds at a valuation of ₹200 crore.

The RBI’s last PA authorisation will assist Paysharp to faucet extra retailers. As on date, RBI has authorised 36 fee aggregators, together with Razorpay, Cashfree, and Stripe.

Paysharp is offering flat pricing to retailers as an alternative choice to percentage-based pricing adopted by different PAs. Paysharp is specializing in non-card-based funds, resembling UPI and a digital account-based resolution for NEFT/IMPS/RTGS collections.
