Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin launched the service on the UmagineTN2024 IT summit organised by Tamil Nadu’s IT and digital companies division on Friday.
Within the preliminary part, WiFi hotspots will likely be deployed within the Marina Seaside, Besant Nagar Seaside, bus stops, company parks and bus terminus. Each ACT Fibernet prospects and non-customers would profit from this initiative. Clients will be capable of entry the WiFi for 45 minutes a day, the official mentioned.
ACT has already launched public WiFi hotspots in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. In Tamil Nadu, it plans to launch the same service in Coimbatore, Tiruchi and Madurai, the official mentioned.
