The target of this MoU — signed in Abu Dhabi on Monday — is to advertise and develop cooperation between the 2 Supreme Audit Establishments (SAIs) to be able to strengthen respective establishment’s skilled capability and enhance methodologies within the subject of public sector audit.
Different areas of cooperation dedicated by this MoU embody change of information and experiences within the space of public auditing and conducting capability growth applications at SAI India or SAI UAE on want foundation.
Girish Chandra Murmu, the CAG of India stated, “this MoU is a reaffirmation of the values and objectives that our establishments have shared over an extended interval and cementing of the ties that exist already between our two nations”.
Murmu noticed that “the MoU will yield many alternatives for better change of information and expertise between members of our SAIs and also will foster the spirit of cooperation and friendship between our SAIs”.
Humaid Obaid Khalifa Obaid Abushibs, President, UAE Accountability Authority emphasised the significance of the settlement that can improve and enhance the exterior audit practices of the 2 SAIs and can help in strengthening the bilateral relationship between the 2 SAIs by mutual cooperation.
