CCEA approves ₹50,655 crore for high-speed hall tasks throughout India

The Cupboard Committee on Financial Affairs (CCEA) on Friday authorised the event of eight essential nationwide high-speed hall tasks with a size of 936 km at a mission value of ₹50,655 crore.

The federal government mentioned notable tasks embody a hoop highway for Ayodhya and Kanpur, an Agra-Gwalior high-speed hall, and enhancing highway connectivity within the North East.

It added that the implementation of those tasks will generate an estimated 4.42 crore man-days of direct and oblique employment.

The 88-km 6-Lane Agra-Gwalior excessive velocity hall shall be developed on a Construct-Function-Switch (BOT) mode as a totally access-controlled lane hall at a complete capital value of ₹4,613 crore.

The 231-km 4-lane access-controlled high-speed hall between Kharagpur and Moregram shall be developed in Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) at a complete capital value of ₹10,247 crore.

Equally, the 68-km 4-lane access-controlled Ayodhya Ring Street shall be developed underneath HAM at a complete capital value of ₹3,935 Crore. The Ring Street will cut back congestion on NHs passing by way of town, thereby enabling quick motion of pilgrims visiting the Rama Mandir.

The 47-km 6-lane access-controlled part of Kanpur Ring Street shall be developed in Engineering, Procurement and Building Mode (EPC) at a complete capital value of ₹3,298 Crore. This part will full the 6-lane Nationwide Freeway Ring round Kanpur.

The 121-km Guwahati Ring Street shall be developed in Construct Function Toll (BOT) mode in three sections at a complete capital value of ₹5,729 crore. It can present seamless connectivity to long-distance site visitors plying on Nationwide Freeway 27 (the East West Hall), which is the gateway to the Northeast area of the nation.

The 214-km 6-Lane Tharad-Deesa-Mehsana-Ahmedabad Nationwide Excessive-Velocity Hall shall be developed in BOT mode at a complete capital value of ₹10,534 crore. The Tharad-Ahmedabad hall will present connectivity between two key Nationwide Corridors within the state of Gujarat, the Amritsar-Jamnagar hall and the Delhi-Mumbai expressway. Thus, freight automobiles originating from industrial areas of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan can have seamless connectivity to the most important ports in Maharashtra (JNPT, Mumbai, and the newly sanctioned Vadhavan port).
