DoT defers telecom spectrum public sale for second time to June 25

The Division of Telecommunications (DoT) has deferred the spectrum public sale for the second time to June 25 from June 6, earlier.

The public sale was initially scheduled to be held on Could 20, which was postponed to June 6.

The division in an modification to the discover inviting purposes (NIA) mentioned mock auctions are scheduled for June 13 and 14. All unsold spectrum from the final sale will probably be up for bidding once more. Airwaves within the 800, 900, 1800, 2100, 2300, 2500, 3300 MHz and 26 GHz bands, protecting a big chunk of voice and information spectrum, are up on the market.
