Dr Reddy’s Laboratories on Friday introduced the launch of Doxycycline capsules 40 mg, within the US market.
The drug is a therapeutic generic equal of ORACEA (doxycycline, USP) capsules (40 mg), permitted by the US Meals and Drug Administration (USFDA), the corporate stated in a press release.
“This formulation of doxycycline has not been evaluated within the remedy or prevention of infections. Don’t use doxycycline capsules for treating bacterial infections, offering antibacterial prophylaxis, or lowering the numbers or eliminating microorganisms related to any bacterial illness,” the agency additional acknowledged.
