rench President Emmanuel Macron on Friday watched India’s seventy fifth Republic Day celebrations on the majestic Kartavya Path, becoming a member of a choose group of world leaders to have graced the nation’s greatest ceremonial occasion within the final seven many years.

Because the chief visitor on the ceremony, Macron witnessed the grand army parade and the cultural performances together with President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, members of the Union Cupboard, international diplomats and a bunch of different dignitaries.

It was the sixth time {that a} French chief was the chief visitor on the Republic Day parade.

“An awesome honor for France. Thanks, India,” Macron posted on X in a caption to a video of the French band and the army contingents marching down the majestic ceremonial boulevard within the coronary heart of the nationwide capital.
