LIC officers acquired increased wage settlement than public sector financial institution friends: Union

“The wage revision will not be an act of benevolence. It’s a professional demand of the workforce to share within the wealth and prosperity created by the workforce within the {industry},” mentioned S Nagarajan, Basic Secretary, AIBOA.

The most recent wage revision for the LIC and PSB workforce is with impact from August 1, 2022, and November 1, 2022, respectively.

The wage revision for LIC staff, which was authorised by the federal government, will step up the life insurer’s annual wage invoice by 17 per cent.

Financial institution unions, too, had agreed to a 17 per cent improve in wage beneath the twelfth industry-wide bipartite wage settlement.
