Centre hikes DA to 50% of fundamental pay for its workers

The Union Cupboard has accredited to launch a further instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Authorities workers and Dearness Reduction (DR) to pensioners from January 1, 2024, representing a rise of 4 proportion factors over the prevailing price of 46 per cent of the essential pay/pension, to compensate towards worth rise, Union Minister Piyush Goyal mentioned after the Cupboard assembly.
